Trout tournament results from April:
First place- Jim Price with 4.20 lbs.
Second place – Randy Pope with 3.32 lbs.
Third place – Willie Morris with 2.9 lbs.
Senior Angler – Wilbur Hicks
Female Angler – Linda Mullis
Junior Angler – Logan Warren
Randy Pope: spoke about his day of fishing and where and how he caught
his 3.32 lb Trout.
Mark Spruell- helpful information for new members and old alike:
*Safe light is always minus 25 minutes from sunrise
*Never go early, never go late (weather permitting)
*Tournament director takes charge of sign-ins as well
as Calcutta which will be cut off 10 minutes prior to start of tourney.
*Please ALWAYS call and verbally check out with either
Bobby or Steve or other club member if leaving early.
*When pulling onto boat ramp to launch please as a
courtesy to others, turn off headlights and only use parking lights
*Please always have boat ready to launch before approaching
the ramp
*Try to help each other out when you see someone fishing alone
trying to launch their boat or loading
*Always obey and pay attention to no wake zones
Steve Persampieri: Please do your safety checks on your boats as Steve
recently received a warning. It is very important to be safe
and responsible on the water.
*Location for May 17th tournament has been changed to the Lions
Club boat ramp. Start time 6:05am. Remember this is a 2 of 3
Tournament, and 2 beat 1.
